I am working on a circa 1900's home and its foundation has a old but still solid (and super thick) steel pipe running through the sandstone foundation that is no longer used. I am trying to add an external outlet in a 3R waterproof box to the exterior. The pipe itself is in good shape, is there any reason I couldnt use it as a metallic conduit? The walls are easily 1/4" thick on a 1/2" opening.
