running through a panel

I have a 277 branch circuit stubbed up in a 3/4 emt going into a 120 volt panel. IT was stubbed up in the wrong panel. My question is can I use that 120 volt panel as a raceway and run the 277 volt conductors through that panel to get to the proper panel.

It is not a good idea see 2002 NEC 312.8.
