Articel 551.76 states that an equipment grounding conductor is necessary for metal boxes, cabinets, etc in RV Parks and the EGC should be run with the circuit conductors from the service equipment or from the transformer of a secondary distribution system. That makes sense. As I read it, in addition to the EGC, no ground rod would be required at each pedestal, but a ground rod would only be needed at the service equipment, correct?

If ground rods were used at each pedestal and were bonded to the EGC would that cause any problems with the grounding system? I believe that one of our customers was going to put a ground rod at each pedestal and I was not sure if that would pose any problems. Thank you.

It basically states that everything is to be treated like sub-panels. The neutral should be fully isolated from any EGC beyond the bond at the point of origination.

There's no problem with ground rods tied to the EGC anywhere. With an isolated neutral, you wouldn't be creating any paralleled conductive pathways anyway.
