The burial kind, not the post-mounted ones, are they just direct buried in the dirt/gravel, or are they set in concrete?
Spec's show the burial depth of 24", so I guess that should hold it. Seems a little janky though.
And what's the disadvantage to loop-feeding them, other than not being able to just shut down one pedestal if you need to work on one?
