Is there any reason you cannot use Romex for 12v undercabinet or even 12v UF lanscape lighting?

Try UF for landscape, consider voltage drop.

You can do this but I would be careful with what you may be attempting with the 12v lighting under the cabinet.

I was wondering if you could use existing Rx or UF and convert an existing 120volt lighting set up to 12v. All othe nec codes being considered. If you want to replace 120v cabinet lights with Juno track 12 Lights. Something like taht.

For ouytdoor use, LV wire is going to be much cheaper.

(It makes great speaker wire, too.)

I have used 12-2 NM cable to feed 12V Juno track in the past. Just cut off the ground and keep the runs very short.
