Is there a code violation when running se cable through a cement basement wall into the panel?I see alot of homes done this way.If so what code ref.pertains to this.As always,thanks for the infor.

I would think that 230.50 would address this. "Where subject to physical damage" would be the key statement.

If you mean running the SE cable inside the air voids of masonry block, then there is no problem.

If you mean running SE cable in a wall that will have poured concrete, then you are in violation.
