Safety switches knife type fuses

Had infrared inspection done on our equipment thru out the plant . Had couple of 400 & 100 amp safety switches that recommended cleaning the connections . These are knife type fuses probably been in use for 25 years . Any preference for lubricating at the electrical connections ?

IIRC I bought a tube of lube from SQ D at one time.

You should have gotten pictures that would show you exactly where the problem is. Most likely the problem is at the conductor termination. Remove, clean or cut back, torque.
