SAFETY TRAINER

Should the person giving a electrical safety course have some electrical experience himself or is being trained by someone like an electrical engineer enough to be a trainer ? Should they be or have been a hands on guy in the field at one time ?

Its seem to me to question a electrical engineer would be hard to do but I would relate to a person who has been there done that who can say I remember when this happen while working at.......

I would be most interested in how the person giving the course presents the material.

I have sat through too many classes where the guy reads the script and shows the next video. Boring is the same no matter what the presenter's past involves.

I would think experience would be an asset but it all comes down to how useful and informative the presentation is that's what counts.
