have a question that we are looking for some help with. Code 408.21 NEC 2002 code check, does it allow double tapping on panel terminal neutral busbar and is there a new code number that I should look under?

408.21 "Each grounded conductor shall terminate within the panelboard in an individual terminal that is not also used for another conductor" (Exception: parallel conductors may teminate on the same terminal if it is identified for that number of wires)

IMO that says no to your question.

You can view the NEC online by filling out a simple form for all years it is available (2002, 2005,2008) at nfpa.org, go to publications

Whatever year your ahj is currently using is the code that applies (not necessarily the latest NEC 70).

Also, it may be specified that EGC's may be doubled where grounded conductors may not be. Don't let that trip you up.
