Just wondering what your policies may be in regards to working in the Bay View district.

I try to avoid it but the location was disclosed only after the deal was struck, naturally.

Can you explane more about this area? Some of us are on the right coast.

Retired after 40 years as an electrician.
Sounds like a neighborhood where the first tool in everyone's toolbox is a 9mm!

I own a 4-plex in a "not very nice neighborhood". This is what a 45 slug did to my new door. I couldn't turn my back on a tool for a second or it would be gone and I won't let my wife go to the property after dark. I bought a new 40 cal just because of this place.

This is going in.

This is where it came out.

I have to question a guys priorities when he's willing to own a 4 plex in an area bad enough to get riddled with bullet holes.

if its that bad, cancel. the tiny profit on it is not worth your life.

i still don't see why you would agree to do a job not knowing where it is physically located.

I had the address at the beginning of the call--just didn't realize it was in that district until she mentioned it at the end.

Is it really that bad? Probably not. I've survived there before. My question was directed at others who work within the city of San Francisco. Do they avoid the place altogether, or not? I thought it might be interesting.

Why do I need to offer you rationalizations, anyway?

All the Big cities have their "BAD AREAS"! I remember working in Liberty City on a high rise after the riots and the guy i was with carried a 45 right in his tool bucket! When you shot a hiltli gun to fasten a strap it got everyone's attention!!!

I'll add that I did, in fact, accept the job knowing where it was--ultimately.

It's an outlet for a chair lift for her elderly father which made it more difficult to just blow her off.
