A hot tub "UL listed as an appliance" with a 42A name plate 120/240
thats 10080 VA does not fall under any other sections as per 220.3 and T220.3.
The Hot Tub being an appliance per art 100 falls under 220.53 75% rule as a 7560 VA load if there are 3 other appliances.
Any thoughts on this? Nothing in 680 has guidance on service load calculation for hottubs.
I have not done this in the past but I am seeing it for example:
http://www.docstoc.com/docs/73228067/residential-load-calculation
A (16A 240V) Sauna is just a hot room and therefore is electric space heating falls under 220.51
100% of name plate.
Thanks
