Sauna question

Looking at the specs for the sauna it said, 18.75amps and to use 10awg wire. Whats the reason for the 10awg? 80% rule? Thank you for your help.

I am not sure where it states that a sauna is to be calculated at a continuous load but I would think it would only because a water heater req. it.

If it is req. then 18.75 * 1.25 = 23.4 amps.
