Sched 80 vs. Sched 40 PVC

If you incase PVC conduit in concrete, does the code state whether 40 or 80 must be used. If not, is one or the other recommended.

The NEC does not stipulate 40 or 80. I do very little with RNC -PVC but I believe we always used schedule 40.

The Ul listing and the 2002 NEC requires sch 80 to be used on poles, as sch 80 is considered suitable for protection from physical damage.

You can use PVC coreduct encased in concrete. Coreduct has wall thickness about 1/2 of schedule 40. It comes in 20 foot lengths.
