Is Sch 40 RNC with the marking on the conduit saying "listed for direct burial" allowed to be installed directly into the ground or dose it still need to be incased in concrete?
I read NEC Handbook Article 352 and it gives great references to Type "EB" schedule 40 that always needs to be installed in concrete.
But with the markings on the conduit saying "listed for direct burial" can give someone the false impression that the conduit can be installed indirect burial earth without concrete.
Any thoughts from anybody?
