I have a main breaker disconnect mounted outside next to my meter. I'm running conduit out from this box and through the wall to my panel. What type of fittings am I supposed to use outdoors to make it water tight? Is Male Adaptor with bushing and locknut sufficient?

I read everywhere where it says it's more durable, I'm installing outdoors close to a lot of foot traffic and only a 30$ increase for me so I figured it didn't hurt.
So it’s not directly out of the back of the panel? Going out of the bottom, then LB into the wall? If so, some jurisdictions would say it’s subject to physical damage if it’s subject to traffic and damage, and would require it to be schedule 80.
In your original post, I think everyone took it that you were coming out of the back, and if so, schedule 80 would be a waste of money.

If you need to make it water-tight you can use a water-tight lock nut.

I have 2 disconnects one for the bottom apartment and one for the top apartment . The bottom apartment disconnect will come out of the back to go to the panel it’s not even 2’ stub through the wall. The top apartment however I’m going to put an LB at the panel and go straight up along the side of the wall and another LB into the wall where the panel is. I only have about 7’ clearance on the front porch of the house that’s equal to grade level of the road. So the center of my meter will probably only be center at 4’ which is the minimum for my POCO.

Put an LB at the disconnect* sorry for the confusion

I saw those with the yellow gasket in it but for some reason I can’t find any near me to save my life .
Technically those are listed for use with RMC and IMC.

But at same time as long as your entry is below live components you don't need anything but standard locknut anyway.

Isn’t the price difference with RMC and Schedule 80 PVC a lot? And the PVC prevents me from extra steps making sure the conduit is bonded properly.
on line pricing one my suppliers:

2 sch 80 - 713.84 per 100

2 RMC - 1441.42 per 100

2 IMC - 10.25.81 per 100

If you only need 10 feet or so, base price isn't really a deal breaker on any of them. Ability to thread RMC/IMC might be something to consider though.

FYI, Bridgeport fittings says it can be used for PVC as well :

I will say I have used sealing locknuts on PVC many times. most the time in wash down locations for entries to a PVC or even stainless enclosure.

But AFAIK listing standards say they are for RMC/IMC. I suppose a manufacturer can list them for more than that though.
