school calculations

I keep getting stuck on this one..

a new school will have a total connected load of 210000 va and a total area of 50000 sqft. the total service demand load will be?

can someone please help me so i can move on..

did you calculated the load? Is the 50,000 sq. ft in the calculation at 3 watts/sq.ft?

Assuming the school includes electric space heating or air conditioning or both, then...

210,000VA / 50,000sf = 4.2VA/sf

The first 3VA/sf @ 100% = 3VA/sf * 50,000sf = 150,000VA
The remainder @ 75% = 0.9VA/sf * 50,000sf = 45,000VA

Total demand................................................= 195,000VA
