scissor lifts

lift quit raising up today / still runs ok. full of hydralic oil. sounds like
motor is just spinning. Help any ideas before I call repairman. This one
is mine. RON

Bad solenoid coil, switch ect. Without a wiring diagram, much harder to troubleshoot. The switches are usually double pole, so the half that energizes the pump contactor may be working, but the other half that powers the solenoids may be broken.

Check under the sides of the lift to make sure no debris is stopping the safety arms (outriggers as called by United) from dropping down.
