I have a question about the sizing of the circuit breaker for a 90VDC Motor with a DC Drive. This circuit breaker would be ahead of the DC Drive which has a 120VAC input. Therefore, would I use the value from the table 430.247 for the FLC of this motor for this, or multiply this value by 90VDC to get watts, then divide by 120VAC to get the current on the input side of the drive (less losses)?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

I believe you're supposed to use the max input current of the drive, ignoring the motor, which could be replaced in the future.
