I need 4 screws for an old Sylvania / ZINSCO circuit breaker load center. These are not normal National Fine/National Course thread machine screws but a special long lead thread screw designed to engage sheet metal lugs in the panel enclosure. Can anyone tell me where to find screws to match the ZINSCO screws or define this type of screw?

Re: Screws for old ZINSCO load center cover

is this in a district where the inspector checks screws to make sure they are listed for that application? if not, i know that grabber makes a long pan head sheet metal screw, and pan head wood thread screws. big o has some. i was always stealing them from other panels and I can't remember if the screw thread size was as small as typical sheet metal screws. if sheet metal screws will grab, this is a good solution, but if not, other old panels used the same screw.

i threw away all my old panels or i would send you some. kept a few breakers. don't contract, but sell them at flea mkt when i go.
