I ran a GEC for a SDS to the building steel (red iron) with the intention of landing on XO, and then bonding my EGCs and frame etc. Now that I have the XFMR, I see that the design of it gives no good place to tie it all together. Is it ever allowable to land my GEC to XO but not do my bonding until the first system panelboard? I dont have anywhere to run a GEC to from the first panelboard... I guess if I extend my original GEC with an irreversable splice and take it to my first panel I could then do my system bonding at that panel. This would make it so everything ties together in one place. What do you think?...
