SE-R cable in conduit

We cannot seem to find the correct answer. Is SE-R cable allowed to sleeve through EMT? For instance, we need to get across a garage and a boiler room with SE-R cable to feed the units above. Is it legal to use EMT to sleeve these SE-R cables in order to protect them from damage?
