anyone have a good way to pour sealing compound in horizontal seal offs other than using $60 appicator. The horizontal seal offs are usually universal and installed vertical and pouring compound is PITA if you dont have applicator. I was just checking in to see if anyone has any home remedies

With those installed in a vertical position, we typically used a cone shaped paper cup with the bottom cut off.

I use a clear condiment bottle to pour both vertical and horizontal seals. With the Chico mix type compound.

Also the chico in the package with the water and power that you mix in the package works well, but more costly.

presuming your opening is on top the main issue is to make sure you dam each side of the opening so it stays put. Otherwise just pour it in.
