Seal-off question

We have a motor in an outdoor, classified location. Please refer to the following diagram:

SealOffs.jpg

The switch (in an explosion-proof housing) activates the remotely-located starter for the motor. The blue line represents the wires to the switch. The orange line represents the wires from the starter to the motor. The junction box below the switch is just a pull box; there are no splices in the box. The junction box on the side of the motor contains splices to the motor leads. The leads are fully potted where they enter the motor body.

Question: Is this in compliance? Or do I need to add a seal-off where the conduit connects to the motor's junction box?

You didn't mention the size of the raceway into the motor terminal housing; but, assuming it is smaller than 2 inches and the rest of your description is accurate, no additional seal is required. See Section 501.15(A)(1)(2).

I am curious how you have a Division 1 location outdoors with your description, but it's possible so I won't belabor the point. I would note you should identify the area above the Division 1 envelope as Division 2.[Section 500.5(B)(2)(3)]

Sorry for the oversight. All the conduit is 1/2" rigid.

Omg, that image is erroneous. I originally made a typo and put Class 1, Div 1 in the graphic. After I uploaded it to this post, I noticed the error and deleted the image. I made a new image with Class 1, Div 2. I saved it with the same name and uploaded it, but didn't bother to double check before posting. It appears the forum server just kept the first image I uploaded, possibly because I didn't change the image file name.

So please ignore the Class 1, Div 1 note on the graphic. It's Class 1, Div 2.

Oh, well now you have a problem. Just kidding. ;) With a Division 2 classification, obviously the two Sections I cited don't apply.
