seal tight vs non-metalic liquid tight

Was wondering if anyone could help me with knowing when seal tight had to be used instead of non-metalic liquid tight (I understand that of course you always need a ground wire in non-metalic liquid tight)?

if you need something bigger than 1-1/4" you do

I think I've seen carflex in 2"...

Look in art. 350 for LFMC & art. 356 for LFNC. Sections 10 & 12 have uses permitted & not permitted. Otherwise, I guess it's personal preference.

On houses i have used carflex and it will likely be ok.On commercial you best check specs.

So where does the quality factor come to play? Just looking for opinions on this, has anyone come across split carflex? I've heard rumors, but never seen it with my own eyes...

You got me. I've only used it once on residential and hundreds of times on commercial applications.
