I am currently working at a school terminating X-formers and disconnects and I was just wanted to know if I have to put grounding bushings on the seal tight connectors from the X-former to the disconnect because the raceway is sealed inside the rubber coating. My foreman told me that and I beg to differ. A code reference would be nice.

The sealtite grounds to the fittings from the insert that threads into the steel flex under the rubber.

After 6 months in the trade I learned to NEVER argue code. Carry a book and research your issue BEST WAY TO LEARN. Not that the highly knowledgeable code guys here (and I am not one) aren't willing to help, but it is a better approach. No argument with the boss, and no crow for lunch next day and the knowledge is more likely to stick with you.

then that means that we are going to be using the raceway as a means of bonding to the grounding conductor which ties in back at X-former. If we were to bond the connector to the raceway i guess you would say that could be considerd overkill according to the N.E.C.
