Sears has a 10% discount (apparently all the time) for active military and veterans on several classes of tools (009- and 034- at least). Sometimes it is 20% depending on the item. Applies to non-sale prices. [You gotta ask for it.] [They've never asked for my DD214]

Not flacking Sears, just trying to help you save some money.

I've recently been buying a lot of Gearwrench, after years of buying all SK and Facom as cheaper alternatives to Snap On. Got the tip for Gearwrench when I read that SK had name branded the Gearwrench racheting wrenches. Very high quality and finish for 25% the cost of Snap On. My Craftsman stuff I was rounding out the screwdrivers, stretching wrenches, and busting sockets. Sears sells Gearwrench I believe.

The master sets are very well priced. I've been building a second tool set for work. Have my eye on the 1/2" drive impact socket sets and the full polish ratchet set. Recent purchases.
