Greetings, I am a new member and happy to be a part of this forum. I've read and learned quite a bit in the last month and noticed quite a diverse field of electricians, engineers, and inspectors contributing on the forum. It's great!
I'm hoping this question is an easy one, I haven't run across it before. I had a call from a homeowner who sold their home and had a home inspection. He correctly noted that the SEC coming out of the garage, through the wall, and into the meter had been sliced and ripped in a few spots and was in need of repair. I found that Scotch #2234 tape was rated for repairing SEC along with a wide variaty of cables and wire. Has anyone had this experience and what did you use to repair the cable? Thanks!
