352.44 requirement for expansion fittings. I have a 2 inch pvc sched 40 conduit running just under a gutter on the side of a house. I emerge from the bottom edge of an outdoor combo service. I emerge from that panel with an LB and go vertically to a 90 and the go down the side if the house horizontally for 10 ft to another lb to go around the corner and up the gable edge to the termination point of the service. The vertical is about 4 1/2 ft to the top edge of thel 90. I only have 10 ft of conduit in this run and it actually doesnt really go from LB to LB but passes thru that 90. I am in the seattle area where the temperature differential or at least the average differential is between 75 and 34 degrees. that gives me a temp differential of 41 degrees.According to the table with a temperature differential of 40 degrees it is expected that there would be 1.62 inches movement in 100 ft. 10 ft would be .0162 inches. If I am calculating this correctly the code only requires a fitting if the expansion is over .250. I have never really understood this table too well and I want to make sure I am making the right call with no fitting. Thanks for any input you may have on this.
