I need to attach an eye bolt to a house with a brick façade. Can I use a lead anchor to secure the eye bolt? What is best practice?

Generally, no, because of pull-out. They want the eye-bolt to go through a structural wall or framing.

Dominion Energy has point-of-attachment requirements in their Blue Book, starting in section 270.

Yes, I saw that. So, drill hole through brick. Cut hole in bedroom wall and attach washer and nut on eye bolt?

Call and ask to meet to go over requirements.

An attachments holding strength should be determined by varying factors such as wire size, span length, etc..
