Hello everyone,
Looking to spec cable for a project.
I originally thought to use TC cable. But based on NEC 2017, I cannot use TC cable. Based on the NEC 2014, I could argue that TC cable could be used based on 336.10 (7); however, NEC 2017 has no such clause.
I cannot use flexible cords (NEC Article 400) because this is a permanent installation and therefore not permitted.
I cannot use MC cable because I've heard it is relatively expensive, and because I am told it is not allowed.
Here are my requirements:
Are there any good "guides" online to help someone like myself narrow down what type of cable to use?
Any thoughts on what I could use?
Thanks!
