Selection of Motors - Random wound or Form Wound ??????

I have a 400 HP VFD driven motor fed from a low voltage switchgear. Would i be wrong to select a form wound design for the motor. or a random wound will work fine in this case. I am not sure if random wound would be a feasible design for a 400 HP motor.

Please elucidate.

My experience is that form wound is a better choice for a VFD application.
