Doe anyone know of a good translator for converting semiconductor numbers into actual values?

For example, 222k metal film capacitor, 224j 250VCIB metal film capacitor, 683 chip resistor, 4R30 chip resistor, 3R90 chip resistor, ect.

I have the numbers, but unsure know how to get exact electrical values.

NTE offered a cross reference in the past. I’d imagine they still do.

Main thing is to be sure of what type of part you are looking for. For example the 4R30 could be a 4.3 picofarad capacitor or a 4.3 ohm resistor.

The 224 cap would be 22 with 4 zeros (220000) picofarads. That is the same as 220 nanofarads or 0.22 microfarad.

4.3 ohms? Thats low. My fear is that when I Google the values and it takes me to a seller's description, that it isn't accurate or the same value.
