Hi,
I have New Duplex, Residential (Bldg-A and Bldg-B)
Th main 400A , 2 meter / gang service is mounted on Bldg-A and
a 200A sub panel for the other building is mounted in side the house in hallway of Bldg-B.

question is ;
do I need 200A, 2p Main Breaker and Cold Water grg jumping/electrode & (2) grd rods as system grounding
on 200A sub panel located inside the Bldg-B ???

Thank you

Separate building needs a four wire feeder, a disconnecting means, and a GES.

A main breaker, depending on the position of sub panel, in sub panel in separate building is often easiest.,

How can you achieve the GES in separate building when its only sub panel is located in the hallway middle of the house ?????

So, i do not not need ground rods and cold water pump at the separate building
if I pull grng conductor along with under ground feeder ??????

I'm confused. A "duplex" usually refers to one building, with side by side dwelling units separated by a fire partition. Is this the case in OP? If so, this is one building.
