Separate Neutrals

Tricking situation here. THe job called for ALL EMT but then we got MC cable approved in concealed locations.
Reading this note would you say 12/3 MC( shared neutral) would be allowed for 120v lighting and power?

Since you had to ask permission once, that's probably who you should ask. But to me, the answer would be yes, it's okay. Because I don't see a meaningful difference between 'raceway' and 'cable'. That's how I'd ask the question: "Where it says raceway can we also apply that to cable?"

Agree with Post #2.. To CYA, I'd verify that the allowance for MC cable applied to the shared neutral in a raceway.

On a sperate note. Do you guys pull #12 & #10 MC right off the coil or use a special setup/arrangement?
