separation between conduits

Is there a new code requirement that we have to separate normal and emergency conduit at certain distance when they run parallel? Thanks!

The NEC requires one to "maintain space". It does not provide much more info than that. I see it installed butted up together, to spaced by the securing means, and other methods.

310.15(B)(2)(b)
More Than One Conduit, Tube, or Raceway. Spacing between conduits, tubing, or raceways shall be maintained.
