Separation Distance Between Intrinsically Safe Circuits and Non-IS

Is 2 inches all that's required for separation between intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe wiring and terminal blocks?

As far as NEC, it seems to be 2" as described by 504.30(A)(1) and (2).

The current version of UL698 seems to list 2". I have screenshots from the Sept 14th 2012 version of UL698A that shows 5" required. The revision notes on UL's website seem to have crossed out 8" and replaced it with 2". The panel builder I'm talking with thinks it's 4"...
