Is it acceptable to use SER cable in conduit from the house meter through a 2 feet long conduit entering into the house? Or are individual conductors required in conduit? I know we can't use indoor romex cable in conduit outside. But is it acceptable for entrance cable like 2224 #2 AL ? Thank you.

Is this service entrance or feeder? Only SE is required for service entrance, SER is for feeders.

SE/SER is used by many for partial conduit runs. Some may even completely strip the jacket off for full conduit runs, but many will protest that the individual conductors are not properly marked. Another problem is usually where one wants to use SE/SER through an LB in the run, and the LB is not large enough to comply with 338.24 bending radius minimum of 5 times the diameter of the cable.
