Is it a violation to to strip the sheath from a service entrance cable where it passes through a LB fitting? The cable would have the sheath removed from the disconnect, through the LB fitting and then sleeved for a foot or so in the crawl space in PVC pipe. It would then proceed as a sheathed cable until it terminates in the load center at the opposite end of the dwelling. An NM cable clamp would connect it to the PVC where it goes into the 1' stub. Thanks

the sheath is supposed to extend 1/4“ into the box.
Has it been done? Sure. Depends on the inspector on if it will pass or not.
Use a large enough LB with reducers to make it work.
Or use a box.
