I have confused myself and would appreciate some clarity. What size EMT can be used to run 4/0-4/0-4/0-2/0 SER cable from a meter/main on the exterior of a home up the wall and into attic space, then ran open supported to framing to a 200A MLO panel inside an attached garage?

the minimum size conduit you could use would be 2". But if you're using an LB to make the turn 2.5".

(All acording to Southwire's info)

If using AL, 2" is barely legal.
CU would require 2?".
Any LBs almost certainly would require a larger size.

I had assumed AL - that is 1503.

You are correct. I was reading the copper table. But then again, copper is usually assumed. 110.5.

If the conduit is a sleeve as the op is suggesting, then I don't see an issue with fill. I would also use PVC instead of emt if you are allowed.

Yes, but he will still have to actually install the SER in that sleeve.

Even if fill is not an issue, I think it is still a good guide.
