SER in Conduit

I have a 400 amp 1ph pedestal meter with the 70kw generator next to it. Can you run the parallel 4/0 SER 50' under ground in pvc conduit? I know we can use the SER for a single family dwelling for the 400 amps but more curious about using it in conduit for a single family residence.
