I do not understand what they are trying to describe in the second part of 110.22. Can you give me an Example and Description.

The second paragraph of that article describes labeling.
It is important, that once a series rated combination is installed, that no one should "willy nilly" replace the fuse or breaker with another model that may not be a series rated combination.

The key point here is "If" a "series" rating is used on the distribution system then it needs to be identified. If it is a standard, "Fully rated" system then no special identification is required.

Are we by any chance doing your homework. I see 5 posts from you today that all look vaguley fammilar. Like from the delmar series of electrical books.
