What is the purpose of this note? It does not seem to add all that much. Boilerplate rarely does. Maybe clean it up and put it in the specs and just reference it as a note.

There is no such thing as an "Equal" part or product. Suggest using term "Approved Alternate" Who is approving it anyway?
