I am looking to install a Daikin VRV Series IV system. I have discovered an interesting but, in this case, less than welcome finding. The Outside units do come in 480/277 but the Inside units (Air Handlers etc.) only come as 230 V. This will necessitate installing a 480/277 to 230/120 transformer.

Please confirm if I am reading the specs correctly. Of course I would expect 277 V Indoor units since the 480/277V is the Industrial standard and is all that is now distributed at this plant. Daikin is an amazing company with the most advanced HVAC products. It is the biggest in the world. Why would it not see this dropout?????? I hope I am misreading specs.

It should be either 460V/3Ph/60Hz or 208-230V/3Ph/60Hz, not both, for Daikin VRV IV. Any shipping error?
