Service AIC Rating w/ Multiple Circuit Breakers

I have a question related to a service consisting of multiple individual circuit breakers. I am most familar with services that include a MCB rated for the utility short circuit current. I have come across an installation where there is no MCB and wanted to verify the impact to the kAIC rating of the installed equipment.

For example, a 120/240V service with 6 separate 60A/2P circuit breakers. The available short circuit current from the utility is 22 kA. Do all the separate circuit breakers need to be rated for 22 kAIC?
 
Yes, all devices (which are intended to break fault currents) must be rated for the fault currents available at their line side.
