Service Cable replacement can i do this?

Custommer has a small detached garage in the back of house with a seperate 100 amp service, current service drop is aprox 70' from pole over drive way and 9' at mid point ,Service connects to 2 rotten 2x8s and service cable head is aprox 15' up from grade.What id like to do is replace the 2x8s with new 2x8s attach 2" ridgid to new 2x8s ridgid would stick up higher then wood and be used as point of attachment. I cant do a normal mast as I wont have the hight and stibality to get 12' drop.Oh and yes this will be ugly.

how about sinking a pole. this absolutely would make it easy to meet 230.24 and look much better, last longer, safer all the way around.

Oh one more If I just attached 2" rigid to the garage my the pipe would need to be approx 8' after last strap with guy wire which to me seams like a bad idea
