How would you calculate a service for a 60ft x 150 ft manufactured building used for aquaculture reseqarch? I have not been givien a equipment listing for this building. I do know that there are going to be motors (not exceeding 2 HP) heat pump/chillers, lighting, receptacles and some other equipment. Any comments?

You will need a list of all loads invloved before you can begin.

You can't, really. You may be able to guesstimate well enough to locate the service components, but you can't size anything without a complete load list.
Start with Art. 220 and see how far you can get without the info. Lighting based on floor area is about as far as you can get. Do you even know 1ph vs 3ph yet?
