I have a friend who is wiring up his dad's small vacation home. The house is only 600sq ft. but they installed a 200amp service on the house to help supply a couple motorhome hook up locations. What size should the feeders be? Should they be based on 310.16 under 200amp due to the size of the main breaker or can they derate due to the hookups? Doesn't the feeder size have to be sized based on the size of the main breaker?

You can use 310.16, but you have to make sure use use the proper collumn. What do you mean CAN they derate for the hookups? Normally it's not a question wether or not you can, it's wether or not you have to.
