Does anyone know what the height requirement of the service drop over a swimming pool was per the 1969/70 NEC

Parameter A - 18 feet

The code cycle before '81 cycle is the same

Actually, the service drop (if owned by the electric utility) is in the purview of the serving electric utility. The service drop must meet the requirements of the NESC at the time of installation and must clear the parts of the pool under the lowest sag conditions. Table 680.8 closely mirrors the NESC but lacks the requirement for the maximum sag conditions and the additional clearance for open wire service drops.
