A coworker recently did a heavy up at a residence and replaced the cable going from the meter to the service head with 4/0 SEC. I know there is not a problem with the cable running next to a window but the service head was right next to a window that opens. The inspector passed it.I have always thought it had to be 3feet away. Is there some exception that allows that? I don't see anything in 230.9. Thank you
