Good morning I'm trying to get some info on what the NEC says is compliant with service entrance conduit running through an attic of a single family dwelling. We just did a panel upgrade where the riser exits the roof on the back side of the house but the conduit runs through the Attic to the front side of the house where the meter panel is on the outside of the home. Can you please provide some insight on this thank you

If the conductors (conduit) have no over-current protection ahead of them then 230.70 applies and what you have is in violation.:
(1) Readily Accessible Location. The service disconnecting means shall be installed at a readily accessible location either outside of a building or structure or inside nearest the point of entrance of the service conductors.

If there is overcurrent protection before the conduit enters the structure then only those rules relating to the conduit used and possibly ambient derating
